Let's look at this example; you send a campaign and we get a soft bounce from one of your subscriber. Our system will flag him with one count of soft bounce. Next week, you sent another campaign and similiar subscriber get another soft bounce. We will flag him with 2 soft bounces but on the 3rd week campaign sending the subscriber is able to receive your campaign, our system will reset the previously soft bounces count to zero, but if we still get soft bounce from the subscriber, we will flag him with hard bounce and delete the subscriber from your list.
